About Snap-8
Snap-8 (Acetyl Octapeptide-3) is a synthetic octapeptide designed to mimic the N-terminal end of SNAP-25, a key protein in the SNARE complex responsible for neurotransmitter release at neuromuscular junctions. By competitively binding to the SNARE complex, Snap-8 is studied for its potential to reduce neuromuscular signaling, which may lead to a decrease in the intensity of muscle contractions associated with expression lines and wrinkles.
