About Abaloparatide
Abaloparatide is a 34-amino-acid synthetic analog of human parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHrP). It has been specifically designed to selectively activate the parathyroid hormone type 1 receptor (PTH1R). Through this targeted mechanism, it promotes an anabolic window, stimulating osteoblast activity to build new bone more efficiently than it activates osteoclasts, which break down bone.
